Oh. I'm happily married for almost 30 years. My wife would never throw a wrench in a plan like that on me and I'd never buy a vehicle if I had never even considered it prior. Farmer has what 3-4 different threads on getting another Camaro? LOL ... Not all wives are created equal I guess...

See Mr. Fran,

We online gamers use a few tricks up our sleeves to alleviate the potency of the wife trump card.

In World of Warcraft they call it: Provoke and Confuse, and if all else fails feign death.

So how this plays out in a conversation:

Man, "No, I am getting this camaro."
Wife, "Oh no you are not!"
Man, "STFU bish! I love you!"
Enter: Provoke and confuse
If she mushes up then you got the Camaro.
If however she only has focus on the first part, then and only then as a last resort to break wife agro, Feign Death

At this point it is probably best to tuck your tail between your legs, and concede. Unstoppable force meets immoveable object never pans out well.

"Got the Green Light for a new 2SS" 8/14/22 FF

After 2 years of clickbait on the virtues of owning a Dodge we now will be subject to more BS clickbait on owning a Jeep. His greenlight lasted 3 weeks. My happily loving wife of 49 years I guess is not like most, I am blessed.

Lol you guys kill me.

She did not force me out of the Scat. Nor nix the camaro. I have been married 22 years to my best friend. We do everything together. Over the weekend we looked at a pair of KX250s and a few ATVs, then she mentioned a Jeep. I liked the Jeep idea better. There are a bunch of trails around us to ride. I found the Jeep got a great deal on my car and they knocked 2k off the Jeep.
This is just the next chapter in our lives together.

and the gamer post was funny. Her and I are gamers. We have played many games together over the years. Currently we are Team Turtle on New World. Over 1300 hours since launch.

I had a used Rubicon all picked out….then I rent a Jeep in Hawaii, and after a week I was tired of it….at speed, (75 mph ) the hood was shaking and rattling….which was annoying to me. Maybe why the pick up version is popular. I have always thought if I’m going to buy an off road vehicle, then buy used and beat up a bit…. so I’m not cussing when a tree branch scratches it.

Congrats on your new purchase Fran. I know how it goes, I can be a pretty impulsive car buyer myself.

Well sheesh, I certainly did not intend to piss anyone off and always thought my posts were pretty cordial.

Would you like me to show myself the door?

Cordial, yes. But after numerous threads "crying wolf" over the years, perhaps some feel like just getting played for your amusement gets old. No worries. I stopped playing long ago...lol. Enjoy the Jeep.

The benefit of the Jeep vert is that you can now focus on a sixth gen with the iconic reverse mohawk???

Is this a Jeep forum? I thought it was a Dodge forum.
