If you are sticking with the Eddie, I still think a larger engine with the proper heads/cam to match the displacement will work better with that Supercharger turned way down. Not 3.0 pulley down, more like 3.25. You make the same if not more peak power, less heat, and the torque shouldn't exceed where you are at now.

The ideal solution IMO, is to change power adders all together. The Eddie really isn't what you need for your goals at your elevation. You need a bigger unit. I don't know if the Whipple 3.0 will gain you much or move up to a F1x Procharger or Turbos. But that is what really needs to happen imo.
In terms of racing, the car is in no man's land. It's a 9.20 car that requires a roll cage, but I'm not making that mistake again. It's a good 60-130 car, but I have to start in 5th gear because of traction.

It's a highway car that needs a stronger 377 or 390 with higher compression, better oil pump, 38% cam, heads freshened or updated, and a much better thrust bearing. Plus, my trans is probably on the edge now, and adding a bunch more power will only hasten its death.

I'm not sure whether a bigger cam will require a looser converter.
