Alignment

At my annual inspection, new tires are required and the rear alignment was out of spec. After looking at the alignment report, I noticed it said FE3 on the title. My car is a 1LS with SS wheels and tires. When I go back should I inform them of this or will the FE3 calibration give the car better handling? Do the staggered wider wheels need the FE3 specs if the rest of the suspension is FE2?

I have no idea what FE3 means, what are the actual numbers? Did they give you the alignment sheet?

@Christian1LE FE3 is the SS suspension (FE2 is what the LS and LT trims get, FE4 is the SS 1LE / ZL1 suspension, and FEA is what the ZL1 1LE has).

If the alignment sheet numbers look good, the car tracks straight, drives well in turns and the steering wheel is correctly centered, I would not go back but keep the question in my pocket for the next time.

Totally agree and to add as long as the toe is in spec nothing else really matters as far as tire wear goes.

The place you took it did you a big favor. Fe3 alignment is better.

That was what I wondered. The dealership didn’t do an alignment yet, but I will get one next month when new tires are installed.

I have mine at 1.2 neg. camber on front and ..8 neg. camber on rear. Toe at factory spec. I am happy with it. Have had this alignment over 30 k miles. There is a lot of alignment info on this forum.
