Auto Show

For those of us that live in Central Florida, the Central Florida International Auto Show is coming up; apparently the new Camaro is to make an appearance...

I've waited soooo long...

I'm so upset I'm missing the LA auto show because they moved it up a couple weeks. Instead I'm stuck here in Oxford. Oh yay.

California is just on an "us first" greed streak. We want our Presidential primary earlier, and now we have an earlier autoshow. This might actually hurt the LA Auto Show, as a lot of Manufacturers aren't going to want to debut their cars that early.

Over Halloween I met this girl (yes I tried to pick her up!), she was a Brand Ambassador for Pontiac!
Yea she's one of those girls who goes from auto show to auto show and says she works about 6 months out of the year and then another 2 for training.
She says she hears "do you come with the car?" or "I'll buy it if you come with the car" non stop!!!

No Camaro at the Central Florida show. The Chevy rep said that this show was too small to have the Camaro. I was so bummed to have spent the money and walk a mile from parking to find no Camaro there. :(

Yep, that sucked- bigtime. They basically said the same thing to me too. They said, "well, there aren't that many Camaro's to go around and they have to do all the major shows first... blah, blah, blah... They introduced it in '06- it's close to '08, man! How many more big shows are there?

There's Michigan, New York and LA, and a few over seas here and there, Jay Leno's played with it a little, let's see... it starred in a movie, that's done and over-- Oh, I forgot, it's being polished up for the Sheboygan auto show!
