This forum and it's good idea always making me spend money. A thread about brakes yesterday cost me 500 bucks...I feel like an old lady watching the home shopping network.

Ugh, can you brush it out?

I know that for the Adam's cleaner, they say to never spray the surface directly, but instead spray the microfiber towel lightly.

I guess this will be my first post, and not car related ...

When you snap a photo with a smartphone there's a fixed "up", but the phone compensates when you rotate the device (changes the up so it looks correct), however when you export/save/upload them, if the interface to the image doesn't provide orientation data, it'll just keep the photo however the device was rotated.

Anyway, nerdy shit aside, here's your photos rotated correctly (basically rotating in an image editor, Preview, whatever, changes the "up")

(Cliff Notes intro: researching/shopping a ZL1 convertible, about 90% likely at this point, targeting later this year, current car nicely setup GT PP convertible, owned 4 Vettes, Supra, misc other Japanese/German vehicles - will do a better intro when I'm closer )

I recommend the dish soap method. (It is also basically free assuming someone does dishes at your house or place of work). Its very gentle and you can always use the Sonax after if you are not happy with the results. IMO its the safer way to do it, but to those who want to go for the chemicals right away, it's your wheel.

I read a long time ago that Woolite works great. It’s a really mild cleaner that doesn’t produce an over abundance of suds.

I put a pea sized dot on the wheel and used a soft hair brush.
