Technostalgia Tail lights

Is their a new version out? Are u still having issues with them? Looking to buy a set, but was just curious if i need to dremel them open and sillicone it myself for moisture issues everyone was having.

I bought what I was told was the new version last year, the 6800 series, and have not had any water leak issues to date. (knock on wood)

I would not dremel them open. I would just run a bead of silicon around the edge. The reason I say that is because when you have to send them back for not working properly they may kick back on you since you opened them. I hope you don't have any problems But alot of folks on here have, including me. Good luck

moisture is not the only issue with technostalgias. also the new versions don't look the same

just yesterday my left turn signal stopped working properly on one of the lights. they're a constant maintenance item and I'll always advise against them unless their customer service gets better... which it hasn't
