Rotofab Install

I received my Rotobab CAI with Dry Filter today and wanted to share my opinion. First off I would like to say it shipped without a hitch and arrived well packaged. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I think all in all it is a well put together kit. The only things I am not fond of are the supplied clamps and the 4"-4.25" silicone step hose that attached to the throttle body. The throttle body measures 3.830" so the hose is too loose of tolerance in my opinion. I will be looking for a 3.75"- 4.25" straight step and a little wider clamps.

Why is it like that? I think the SS version looks cleaner with it's molded "bucket"

I just installed mine. I love it. Super charger is louder when you get on it. You can hear the air sucking through that puppy. Sounds good.

Thanks for posting! We're excited to finally see some of these systems reach the end-users.

Thank you both for choosing the Roto-fab CAI!

The clamps are the one thing I was never fond of when I had my 5th gen's.

Butt dyno results? Any check engine lights? Do you plan on getting it tuned?

I will be throwing the car on the dyno this weekend just to see what it shows. I will report back with numbers.. the car had a baseline of 575/579 on 93 octane + Torco.

No check engine lights.!.!.!

I will be getting it tuned after my 2" ARH Offroad Long tubes come in. I will also post what type of results I get with the exhaust as well.

We're looking forward to your results! Be sure to do a few drive cycles after swapping intakes. A thorough "learning" process is important for accurate results.
