I went out in my Camaro yesterday and noticed a line running up under the passenger side winshield wiper. Turns out a small stone chip (no one knows when it happened) developed into a crack.

Now I am faced with getting the windshield replaced. Is there any thought on who is good, and who to stay away from?
I wouldn't mind an on-site replacement at my home - who does that?

Give a call to Jason Williams at New Roads GM dealer.
See what they can do for you.

They are a club sponsor of ours.
He helped me out with a new (stock) Blaupunkt faceplate for my G8.

I didn't know New Roads installed windshields.
I also didn't know GM supplied windshields. I thought companies like LOF made them as OEM.

Just looked - sure enough the GM logo is on the windshield. It is made by Pilkington.

If you got HUD then make sure you get the HUD glass.

Finally got the windshield installed today.
I used Auto Glass Plus (AGP) in Newmarket. They did a really nice job and took good care of my Camaro.
