Question on cutting exhaust pipe behind secondary cats.
I'm preparing to install the Borla 60607 and Corsa Xtremes, but was wondering:
1) Have any of you all had any luck using the chain style exhaust pipe cutters? I need to cut behind each secondary cat. OEMTOOLS 27045 Tailpipe Cutter https://www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-2704...ct_top?ie=UTF8 GearWrench 2031DD Exhaust and Tailpipe Cutter https://www.amazon.com/GearWrench-20...ct_top?ie=UTF8 2) Both cutters say not for Stainless Steel, but from reading different reviews, it seems to be hit and miss. I know that I can rent these, but I figure buying some would be better for the sharper blades. Thanks! |

if you can get the 60606 no cutting involved. But either tool will work fine.

I used the chain style that I rented from Autozone. Used vice grips to hold it tight and then just back and forth.
