Window indexing while tint is drying

How does a tint place disable you indexing windows while new tint is drying?

It's not that big of a deal. I tinted four cars this way and it never disturbs the tent when it operates…

They don't.. the shop that did my Mustang and Camaro used a heat gun to try and dry the bottom a bit quicker.

Thanks guys going to get it tinted today. Going yo get 35% to keep it legal. Don't want any problems getting it inspected at the dealer.

Got the tint done. They did a perfect job. The window indexing is fine doesn't hurt the tint.

I did my own and they came out perfectly. The trick is to use a pen or pencil or nail etc, and when the door is open, use the pen to move the door locking mechanism to the latched position. This brings the window index up. After letting the tint cure overnight in the garage, hold the door handle in the open position and use the pen to flick the door latch back to open which also causes the windows to index down. This also help to ensure there is no hidden dirt below the window slide.
