Free oil change
So I brought my SS in for a complimentary oil change at the dealer service. Picked up the car and drove it home and the oil warning light comes on! WTF? I get home, let the car cool down a bit. Wound up adding 3 qts of oil. No apparent leaks. Then looked at my service receipt and they only put 10 quarts in. I guess an oil change means that they will let you drive your car out of the service center 3 quarts low? WTF?

10 qts is right. Maybe they filled with 8 like the LS3 motors and documented 10.

On my free oil change they only put in 6 quarts.

Never leave an oil change from a dealer until you check the stick at the dealership.
That's just a given these days..... |
