1/4 mile timer vs timeslip
Id be curious to see if any of you guys that are hitting a drag strip could set the car performance timer when you are making a pass and compare the cars calculated figures with an actual time slip.

Always think about it, but I'm always considering too many other things when staging. Never seem to remember to try it, especially when I may only get 4-5 runs in.

Not going to be the exact same as the cars timer doesn't take into consideration roll out and such...good tool for tuning and fun, but a drag strip timer will be more accurate.

will only work if launching off idle. From what I understand, the timer starts as soon as the rpms rise at all, (at least in the A8...not sure about the M6). Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I was told....haven't tried it myself yet.

Yeah i figured its gonna be off I was just trying to get an idea of by how much is all. Each car will be different as well as far as +/- no big deal. I think im attending a rental on the 25th of April and will run the wheels off this thing and see where the figures fall on my car vs the timeslips
