0 - 60 disappointed
I have a 2lt and am pretty disappointedin my 0 -60 times. According to the performance timer, the best I havemanaged was 6.1. I wasn't expecting 5.1, but felt mid 5s would be okay. I am near St Louis, and it was low 80s.

I only have 400 miles on it, so it will be a while before I try it again. I was just expexting more. I was getting about the same from my 11 v6 manual. How did you get a 4.6? That is insane!

If you are referring to my 2011 ls, I used other methods...no performance timer with that one. I did try it again tonight, and got a 5.6. The temp was a little lower and I had a little less wheel spin, and a little under 1/2tank of gas. Hope to improbe more. I wish I could find a way to get rid of the hesitation from when I mash the gas and when the car actually goes WOT.

If it makes you feel better, I cut an 8.1 today. I don't really know how to launch a RWD V8 and I'm just kinda messing around right now. Won't try again until break-in is legitimately done and I have some fresh oil in her.
I had it set to track mode and competitive mode. Reviewing my "not video" that "doesn't exist", I slipped the clutch a little too much which started the timer a little early, then I put in way too much throttle and got a bit of fish tailing in first. |

I'm sure you will do a lot better once you figure it out. I did one more un a fewdays ago with cooler temps and got a5.2 so I'm pretty happy with it now.

Hammered a 5.4 out of the 2.0 turbo on the second try, stock M6... Probably has more in it, the tires didn't even chrip; a stock V6 must have a 4.X in it!

6.03 as recorded in HP tuners monitoring the speed from 0-60 stock, and 5.886 with the big throttle body. |

A professional driver in good conditions should be able to knock down a 5.2... I believe a publication (C&D?) already has |

I'm starting to think that the no lift shift and launch control is an SS only thing
Anybody with solid info on this please chime in! |
