As you said, get the car jacked, wheel off took longer than the install of the rock guards.

I got mine on with the wheels on just fine haha

Hey guys, mine were doing the same and not lining up very well. I went to Home depot and grabbed a bag of washers and they also sell nylon spacers very similar to what comes the ZL1 addons kit. I bought a couple different widths to make it work. It now lines up perfect and seems more secure.

I have been working on swapping out my FE3 suspension for FE4 and I am almost done (just waiting on the rear knuckles and the sway bars to arrive.
As I swapped out the rear links I noticed that some of the FE3 parts have the same part numbers stamped in them as the FE4 but then the FE4 parts have a sticker that changes the part number. (see pic)

I am also upgrading to ZL1 front and rear brakes (they are getting powder coated to match the 50th Anniversary calipers and they will have Fifty stickers on them as well). So it should look close to original. They are quite a bit bigger than the SS rotors.

You’re not the only one to mention this. I saw a couple videos on YouTube with people adding the ZL1/1LE suspension parts and finding it’s the same parts on some.

Went yesterday to a Dyno test.

I am down 20 hp 433Hp instead of 453Hp. Ok the auto gets a few horses but......

after that I had a nice ride with a BMW M6. The M6 Accelerates much quicker/faster but at 260 Km/h it was my turn

and I could overtake.

I love our Autobahn

Just ordered GM Nightfall Gray rear splash guards. Should have gotten them before I changed out my PowerStop Z26 pads for Z23 pads and had the wheels off. The Z26 pads were squealing backing out of the garage after car sat overnight about 2K miles after I installed them. It would do it for about a mile then go away. They were still much quieter and cleaner than the OEM Brembo pads but I don't like any noise.
