I found a couple places to shop within a reasonable drive. But I have decided on full face simply because LeMons requires it and I’m planning on being part of a friends team.

I think you gotta have a big head in order to do what we do.

I always recommend a full face helmet. The chances of it happening are VERY slim. but it would not feel good to have a piece or rubber come off the car ahead of you and smoke you in the face at whatever track speed you are traveling at.

Picked up a Bell M8 SA2020 which they make in metric sizes so found a size that fits me perfectly with the balaclava on. Has adjustable air vents. For sure try them on in person. May be on back order depending on what color and size you need.

I got a Pyrotect Ultra-sport Full Face SA2020 in flat grey. It’s a little snug, but the eye opening has plenty of room to fit glasses.

I just upgraded to a SA2020 helmet and a HANS III device. Combo from Speedway motors, including a storage bag for both pieces for just over $700.

Factory seat with a Corbeau 4pt. Not roll bar/harness bar.
