Maybe I’m getting old, but I really like the idea of headers with the stock muffler. That’s been my setup on my last 2 builds. Had ARH Headers into factory ZR1 mufflers on my last Vette. That was the best sounding car I’ve built, and was still able to go Toyota quiet if need be.

I wish there were some more dual mode muffler options out there. Billy Boat and Akrapovic are both known to make nice ones, but I haven’t seen any for the 6th gen. SW and Borla are all I’ve seen, but I don’t think I’ll want any more volume than I’ll get with my headers and stock muffler. I got a feeling it’s going to scream at WOT once I install the Kooks sitting in my living room.
