I’m currently thinking about 2020. ZR1 keeps coming up. However, 2 years nowadays in car years means something we don’t know about yet will be super hot.

Was able to get an allocation for the New Porsche GT3 with a manual but passed. I might regret this if people bid these up like they did for the GT3 RS, GT4, GT3 R, etc... Still, I felt the ZL1 has just as much attitude (in different ways) and did just about everything the GT3 does at a lower price point.

I feel like I can drive the ZL1 more with less money into it (11K miles so far) and I feel it is faster on regular roads. I did a run through the mountains last fall and most of the other cars had to keep slowing down or risk hitting their noses. The ZL1 has less overhang and just blasted through.

Now if I could get an allocation for the new GT3 RS, maybe............

I couldnt agree more. I had a 997.2 GT3 a few years ago and loved it but its not an everyday car at all as you know. I have a huge interest in a GT3 touring but the allocation for that is almost as hard as the rest of them! A good friend just took delivery of his from Byers Porsche in ohio. Beautiful cars!

I thought & did get out of my ZL1 1LE. This car should never get you bored. If it does get a Whipple. My A10 drives like a agile Cadillac

I'm always looking for something new, but I still really enjoy it (even though I've only taken it out a handful of times since November).

Might try to get back in a BMW in a couple years when the new M5s are on the used market.

Have a 17' Maserati Levante, 14' CTSV-Coupe, 17' ZL1 convertible... At this point, I can afford to just start collecting vehicles. I'm done selling cars, time to start the stable.

I already grabbed my ankles twice on ZL1's.

1LE isn't that far superior considering the A10, but if they produce that ZL1 Drag car it would be perfect for me...

The only car I can think of that might sway me is the upcoming GT500. After all this time and Ford's teasing, it should be Damn good. I've had about 7 or 8 cars over the last 7 years, and the ZL1 is still holding my interest. GM really did a great job on this car. It may be one I actually keep.

I'm considering a '19 ZR1, I love my ZL1 but I think the ZR1's are beast. If i buy one I know without a doubt i will do a full exhaust no cats, pulley upgrade and CAI. I know an A10 would be quicker but I love pulling gears.
