Why so difficult finding a Manual 2ss?
I've been looking at the GM website, socal chevy dealers website, cargurus etc. for a 2ss Manual trans black or red.
I thought this would be a popular configuration and readily available but it shows I know nothing about camaros. Is it just me or is the choices slim? Can we expect more cars available once 2020 models come out? Also is it insane to ask for 36k for a 2ss with manual trans, exhaust and sunroof? Cargurus shows 8 2SS manuals withing 100mi of me. Getting a 2SS for $36K with the options you want would be something like $9K off MSRP. Might be able to on an '18. Very doubtful on a '19.

Were actually pretty close, im in South Orange county. There are some on gurus, about 8,some higher mileage (well 45k plus). 5 or so of these are at a questionable dealerships, i think that widdled me down to about one or two both having close to 30k on them. Guess im looking lower mileage. |

$36k would be tough on a new one with a sunroof. Since you drive a Mustang, you qualify for the conquest rebate. $38k-39k should be doable on one that has an MSRP of around $44k-$45k.

I had a Mustang GT as well which gave me an extra ($2500??) off my SS? Not sure. I was dead set on a manual 1SS. I test drove one and then the A10 and was blown away by the A10 more, so ended up with that. I wanted zero option 1SS except the A10, so with discounts and rebates I paid $33,090, which to me is a paltry sum for the insane performance this car delivers.

Thanks guys, that helps
Yeah i got an auto 6 in the stang, and I swore ill never drive an Auto again. I know GM's 10speed (hell even the 8) is way better then fords a6. I might go used then or save up a bit more before selling the stang. Appreciate the feedback |
