Headers and Straight Pipe, Homeowners Association... Help!
My Car: 2013 Camaro 2SS LS3 Manual, headers no cats, muffler delete.
So I bought a Condo and I can already tell based on the neighborhood and my neighbors that my hulking headers, no cats, no muffler LS3 could possibly wake the neighbors as I leave for work every morning. I'm trying to head off the issues, with some axle back solutions that will quiet down the exhaust noise a bit. Does anyone have experience with this issue, I searched the forums but could not find my specific situation. Am I worrying for no reason? TL;DR: Headers, no cats, muffler delete, but looking to add a muffler to quiet it down.

Rather expensive, but Varex makes a muffler and cat-back system with built in valving and key fobs/gps/app control that has 100% controllability.
This guy installed it on his 5.0 and it sounds really good. Not sure how it sounds on LS though The GPS control is an awesome feature for someone like you. No worrying about even having to mess with it. it is automatic based on what you set for location. But obviously, that's probably the most expensive option.

I leave for work at 6 am so I just fire up the car inside the garage with the door down and then open it up after 30 seconds or so when it settles down. Not sure how much it really helps cut down the noise but I've been doing it for 2 years and the HOA Nazis across the street haven't made any complaints yet. I'm guessing you have to park outside though so I would recommend a really quiet cat back and a set of cut-outs.

I leave at 7AM. I haven't had anyone complaint yet. I just don't get on the throttle in the morning at all, too early anyway I'm half asleep lol. I too am curious if anyone knows a muffle that will quiet down the beast with headers and no cats. I love how the car sounds but it is a little much, can hear the thing from over a mile away when that boost kicks in.

You can always put the LS3 cans back on. They will make it quieter, until you put your foot in it then they get loud and sound very good.

Borla S-type axle back will quiet it down a good bit. I just switched over to an Atak from the S-type because it was too tame for me. I live in a condo as well and with the atak the cold star is pretty harsh sometimes but no complaints from neighbors yet.

Look at some Magnaflow mufflers. Sad to say it there isn't really a solid solution for loud cars and HOAs lol I feel your pain though. The magnaflows will at least retain the volume when you're WOT and get louder with age. The resonated x pipe is a great solution that will cut enough volume to keep them happy
I thought a NPP system would be good but it does squat even with the valves closed. So I'm going back to a Magnaflow exhaust

Maybe some kind of mild 2 wild switch system where you can quiet it down until you leave the neighborhood?

That's what I have. Cold start is a bit louder, cruise is as quiet as ever, WOT sounds awesome without being terribly loud.
