Right Column:

Red - this was what the 2016 SS was wearing

Pretty positive the red we saw was not the one i saw on the wall. i think we saw the dark red one. not positive though

The Chevy Rep at the booth pointed to the red and stated that was what the SS was.

hmmmm interesting. I was hoping that was the dark red. I want something a little brighter. its the same color found on the banner at the top of the screen. that looks too dark to me to be the brightest red

As much as I love my Camaro, that's one place that the Challenger has the Camaro beat. Great colors like Plum Purple and Lime Green are available. Meanwhile only a handful of customers got a shot at the gorgeous Synergy Green! The Emerald Green is too dark for my tastes and once again only comes in the special edition.

At least the Emerald appears to be standard (though probably premium) in 2016. Still, it's a dark color. And there are way too many dark colors in the Camaro palette! Even the Rock Red Metallic was just a matter of making the red darker.

@Chevy - Can we have some FUN colors, please? Yellow can't hold the market on its own!

You can't polish matte finishes like you can with a shiny clear coat. If you attempt to polish matte paint it will make it shine which is the opposite of a matte finish. Wraps are no easier either, my 1LE hood wrap is always the part of the car I am fussing with after washing since it shows spots very easily. Also some cleaning products to remove the spots will give it a gloss which again defeats the purpose of a matte finish. I can only imagine how difficult it would be for an entire car.

The top right looks like Blue Velvet, a 2015 Camaro color. this color is on the ATS and CTS currently as well, so it would make sense its still on the Camaro.

If only they'd add an orange and a green; I think a lot of people would be happier. Instead they stuck with their tried and true ultra boring color palette. White, Silver, 2 reds, 2 blacks, 2 grays, blue, and yellow. I'm glad the guys that wanted a good blue got it, but I don't know why Chevy kept the same boring color palette for a new generation.

The lighting on that color panel made it difficult to see the metallic fleck in the black paint. I, personally, didn't see much in the way of color sheen.

Just to clarify, there's a metallic black, and a plain black...not "flat", or satin.
