yes...but then it states the 1/8th mile time of 6.39 right next to the 1/4 mile time of 9.99

That rule is for the many cars that don't fit under the newer-car rule. You should be good to 6.40 under NHRA rules with just the Snell 2010 or newer helmet (2015+ next year) and the SFI 3.2A/1 racing jacket in a 2021-2022 car. If your new ZL1 will be the A10, then I'd say that it's capable of going under 7.50, but not so with the M6 trans.

I'm thinking of doing this too. I have an a10 2021 ZL1 bone stock. So I'll need the Snell 2010 helmet plus a jacket but nothing else, correct?

I emailed them regarding the roll bar. I posted a link in the thread regarding their rules and requirements.

So far, yeah looks like jacket and helmet.
