Help Camaro ZL1 2017 over heating

I have a 2017 zl1 and it keeps over heating I’ve replaced thermostat once already and it seems like it’s doing the exact same thing as when the other one went out not sure what to do but the fan will stay on 10 mins after car is off and the temp will get to one notch before 260.

Do you still have a warranty for this?

Is the coolant filled to the proper levels? Is there any leakage anywhere?

If not filled correctly and burped the ZL1 can overheat since it produces so much energy.

It will end up one notch before 260 if I’m just cruising around but doesn’t do it right away just after cruising for a little

I had my water pump go bad on my 06 GTO. It overheated while sitting at a drive through but then went back to working normally until the dealer confirmed it was bad.

When you first replaced the thermostat, was it the original one?

Put the stock t-stat back in, reburp the coolant system and test again. Chances are the moto-rad t-stat you are using is not opening and closing properly.
