Two noteworthy observations.
  1. Camaro advertisement.
  2. Mustang didn't make the list. Challenger, Camaro and Corvette did.

Last week I was offered $3500 over what I paid in April, car has 1800 miles. Yesterday $5,000.

That is a big giant NO!

As someone who was taught to be patient when buying cars, I can’t believe people are paying these overinflated prices. If dealers are offering us a couple thousand more than we paid for our vehicles 2 years ago, that means some people are paying a few thousand above those offers! I can’t believe any fiscally responsible people would ever consider doing that. The only way this is acceptable is if someone truly needs a new car but I doubt everyone buying these cars actually all truly need new cars. I would only overpay right now if my car got totaled and the insurance check was also overinflated.

I stayed in Challenger FB for little bit (since i was interesting in buying one). Lot of Scat pack owners jumped in used Hellcats past months. Lot of people only thinking about what they gets from their vehicle and not thinking about they are paying more.

True, but problem is, this isn’t just happening to ‘new’ cars. Used cars have also heavily inflated to the decree that it may make sense to buy new if you’re going to fork over that much money and you need a car.

Well here in FL on auto trader they were overpriced a few grand as well used. I've noticed even vRoom and Carvana have been lowering their prices on them in increments of about $500 to $800. When dealers have them down here they're not moving very fast on the lots.

A Lexus dealer in Kingston, Ontario was asking $150,000CDN for a used C8 that would have sold for about $100,000CDN new! They've since dropped the price to $130,000CDN. But still crazy!

It's gonna be a ocean of tears when the production comes back and the automakers get back to outselling each other.

Its absurd, and in 12-18 months if things temper will be ironic if all production and delivery pipelines find balance. We will have a glut of product unlike ever.

Cash in hand I will be ready for it. With a little patience I'm sure there will be some awesome deals to be had.

This is what happens when people/the economy has/have so much "free money" floating around...

There will be a bunch of repo'ed cars and houses in the next few years once the party is over.
