305/35 lowering springs

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know of a set of lowering springs that will allow me to run a 305/35/20 rear and 275/35/20 front with minimal rubbing issues? I know stock 305/35 is doable but I want to close up that wheel gap just a little bit more.

YES, BMR Suspension has front lowering springs, SP042 is the part number, I installed them on my 2019 2 SS Camaro, it will drop your front roughly 3/4", it wasn't hard but rather a time consuming process, but well worth doing it myself, saving quite a bit of money from having a shop install them.

I run a 275/35/20 front and 315/35/20 rear, and their is absolutely no rubbing in the front or rear what so ever, also i recommend relocating the wire harness in the left rear wheel housing when upgrading to a larger rear tire, you may not need to depending what size rim, offset/backspace you end up going with, just piece of mind knowing that your larger rear tire won't rub through your wheel liner and damage your harness, just search YOUTUBE on how to do it.

Hope this helps you out, good luck if you decide to lower the front.

I forgot to mention, you won't need any lowering springs for the rear, it's only for the front, as the 315/35/20 i run is only 3/8" or so taller than a 305/35/20, the gap i have is perfect.

I only have pic's from the outside edge of the rear quarter looking down, to show little if any tire protruding from the wheel well.

I'll take a couple tomorrow and upload them to show you what i have, along with the ones showing the tire protrusion.

Thanks! Is the red test car running a 305/35/20 rear tire with that beefier setup or is that a 19” wheel?

Sorry for the LATE reply, just been busy at work the last 2 weeks, I took 6 pictures, and attached them, they show the front tire side view that shows a 1 finger gap and the top looking down showing how flush the tires are with the outside lip, the rear tire shows a 1 finger gap as well also showing down from the top to show how flush the tire is with the outside lip, the other pic's are from the passenger side looking straight down showing how flush front and rear tires are with the outer lips.

Like i said before you only need lowering springs for the fronts, for the rear wheels I have a 5MM wheel spacer that pushes the rim out perfectly flushing it with the outer lip, the fronts i didn't need any spacers they flushed up perfectly.

My wheel and tire setup, Frt: MRR M017 20x10 +23 offset w/ Mucho Macho 275/35/20 (no spacers).
Rear: MRR M017 20x11 +43 offset w/ Mucho Macho 315/35/20 (5MM wheel spacers).

The tires i run may have funny name, but don't knock them, they are very good tires for a cheap price, just do your homework on what tires you go with, GOOD LUCK!
