Which Interchiller you going with? FI You'll be able to run max timing with the chiller so you'll be maxing out your fuel system close to 700.

Ok, that sounds about right.

CSP sells the FI interchiller Seems like the best one available.

I'm just waiting to get mine installed, it will probably be snowing though when they get me in for the install.

Hurry up ALEX.. LOL

Well I think you'll be wasting money porting the 2650R. After working for Magnuson almost 2 years and racing for them for almost 4 years I think you'll find there are no gains on the Lt1 or Lt4 platforms. The Mopar is a different blower and not like the 2650R as far as configuration, port or head design. What works on a Mopar does not always transfer to other brands.

Good to know the gains may not be the same as a Mopar product from the same company but hard to imagine any manufacturer has completely optimized their design before release otherwise none of these machine shops would be in business that are porting blowers. If the Mopar product gains power then obviously Magnuson didn't get it completely optimized before releasing it so it stands to reason that might apply to the rest of their products too, even if the gain is different for each platform.

I only wanted 700whp maybe a little more. With a 2650, 103mm tb, 5" intake, headers/x pipe, low side fuel pump I got right at 700. Fuel was maxed out.

Porting seems like overkill unless you're really going for that 1kwhp+ goal.

I've not seen any data on the Mopar I just echoed what was stated by another member. I'm assuming they have seen that data. The Mopar unless they've changed it is a Jack Shaft setup and the 2650R is not and the runners are probably different or at least a different size so many variables come into play when building the manifold for different applications. Remember that hood clearance such as on the Vette comes into play on runner length and placement of the rotor pack. So many things determine the outcome of the blower for different manufactures like the Ford Coyote which is more similar to the Mopar Case then the GM application as is the Copo 2650 blower which is also a Jack Shaft and built for that application and other LS power plants. Just take a look at the three heads we are talking about, the Coyote is a totally different head the the Mopar or the GM. The GM is a Canted Valve design and the Mopar is somewhat similar to the Hemispherical head although not like the original Hemi head so building different manifolds for each head is a feat in itself using the 2650 rotor pack. Magnuson doesn't build their blowers with concerns that a Machine shop may be able to make them better and I doubt any company does that.

Agreed, which is the point I was making. Some of the porting shops have found ways to get even more power out of any blower, OEM or aftermarket. It probably varies greatly based on a lot of factors as you mentioned.
