Tell me no! Take that thing to a Chevy dealership and make them put a new TC in it!

Yup that’s the TC shudder. It’s locking and unlocking.

Like the others have said. Take it in, it’s under warranty, get a new TC and you will be fine. Some dealerships make you play that 3 flushes game before replacing. But in the end you will end up with a new TC.

+1 do this. No sweat. Small price to pay for a sweet ride. And you will be golden in the end.

I wouldn't trade my M6 for anything, but I have to admit, the A8 in my wife's 1SS is soooooooo easy to go fast in!

Sucks I have a spare one sealed in the package I would sell the for the right price.

GM really needed to make enough for ALL 2017 cars.
When the Fifty program started, GM of Canada and GM Europe were both asked to opt in on the portfolio program. It would have required them to kick in some $$ towards production and distribution of the portfolio. Both opted out and as such, were not included. Those Canadian buyers that are getting the portfolio are getting them because Chevrolet Marketing is saying “we have a few extras, here ya go”. Why some requesters are still being told no is beyond my understanding, unless they are not aware that there are extras or maybe they are aware and think that they have run out.

I hope not for you. I'm sure it will be fixed for you. Glass half full.

Thanks clearing this up. I hate to say it, but it seems like this is a trend in what we know as our world of countries' governments. They all expect USA to foot the bill.

Not anymore. Equal shares.

Probably why the previous owner sold it. They probably didn't know about the service bulletin and thought it was just the car being terrible.
Being forewarned, once it started I got mine in for the flush service asap. Noticable shifting improvement in addition to the shudder being gone. So far, so good.

Agreed I feel fairly certain that’s why it was unloaded and I got it cheap. I also felt pretty certain it was the known shudder which you guys confirmed. All in all assuming Chevy fixes it I think it worked to my advantage, but that shudder is awful.

I have to say thank you to all you guys. I’m glad to stay apart of the Fifty club and I appreciate all the help. If I finally make it to camarofest I owe you guys a beer!

Beer?! Did someone say beer? I like beer. Lol.

But yes glad you got to stay and it sounds like overall a great deal. I wouldn’t let the TC issue discourage anything. It will get fixed. May just have to do the GM flush song and dance like my buddy here just did but he got it replaced. He was down only 2 days I think when it came to repair time.

And yes Fest is always a blast.
