Where did you get yours if I may ask? btw, the deals on 19's at Bomnin's look crazy too. I just wonder how many of the discounts you would actually qualify for. Too bad the good deals from the dealerships near the coast are pretty much too far away for me.

I bought it at Coughlin in Pataskala, Oh. Great bunch of guys to work with. I did the whole deal on email and text.
I used to own a 2016 SS auto but got tired of the dreaded shutter and traded it for a Silverado missed the Camaro, traded the Silverado for this one. Love the 6-speed manual. 😎

Nice. I'm actually looking at one from there and thinking of driving down. Thing is its about a 3 hour drive and I still have my snow wheel/tires on the back of my Mustang. I really wanted octane with tan interior and this one is hyper blue with white interior. It also doesn't have NAV or active exhaust, but it does look pretty sharp in pics and has some extra LPO options and MRC and is 10k off. IDK, the more I look at them, I find different colors and options that I like. I only recently started considering the Camaro as I was going to get a Scat Pack so I have to figure out exactly what options I really need and what ones I could do without. I also see a few places have started discounting the 19's pretty good, but most of them are near the coast and too far away to check out at the moment.

Need some opinions. I have less than a year before i pay off my 2016 2ss. But these deals on the 2018 zl1s are killing me. Im going to test drive a zl1 1le tomorrow. On sale for $59k down from $74k.

The smart thing to do is just pay off my ss and kick this car payment. But the little devil on my shoulder says this deal is too good to pass up.

I doubt i will track the car much, but having the absolute best and most beastly camaro ever built would just be awesome.

Any thoughts?

If you're not tracking the car, I think you'd miss the ride quality of your SS. The regular ZL1 may be better suited for you.

Was thinking that. This 1le though at a local dealer is actually cheaper than most of the standard zl1s around me. I also like the look of the 1le better so i think id sacrifice some comfort for the look. The only thing though is ive read those 1le compound tires arent great on the road and burn out real quick, so with the 1le, i would end up swapping the tires immediately and save the good years for a potential track day.

Going to test drive it now, so lets see how much i hate the stiffness of the ride quality. Haha.

Wow
Anyone else able to negotiate 20-25% off?
Does anyone think the dealer will discount beyond the 15%
Historically we have seen 20%

I was able to get almost 21% off on my recent 2018 ZL1 purchase. 69.9k MSRP with a purchase price of 55.3k.

I live near you and looking at 18 ZL1s. Where did you get yours?

Mike
Mike,

I drove to KC to get mine. There are none in the STL area available. You are going to have to look in Il or IN. I would be looking online and calling dealerships tomorrow. Hawk Cheveolet in Joliet has several that are 20% off. The Hyper Blue looks awesome. There are more than are closer but this dealership has several available.
