Tried finding reviews online and had no luck. Thanks in advance ♡
I think it's great and I've only played with it briefly during 2 test drives. It was one of features I used to justify to myself getting the 2SS over the 1SS, that and blind spot & rear cross traffic alerts. Say what you will but I'll feel a lot better about Camaroís legendary visibility with those systems in place.

I didn't opt for navigation but I think it can update like the rest of the infotainment connected software. I plan to use home and work wi-fi to do updates while I'm parked. I've read the main manual several times but unfortunately I'll have to wait for delivery to read the infotainment and performance manuals. So hopefully that will work as I expect.
One thing I'm curious about is the navigation display in the instrument cluster and the heads up. You will definitely have nav data in those 2 locations but as I'm relying on my phone thru Android Auto I think I will only have it on the main infotainment screen.

Thanks so much for the review. The dealer didn't tell me about the mirror but the blind spot/cross traffic alert sold me on it once I got in and realized I can't see. Being 5' 2" doesn't help

Unless something has changed with the 6th gen refresh, Nav canít be officially added after the fact. Have to use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay for navigation. It can be retrofitted into the vehicle via people like Ofer at gen5diy at a premium.

As for Nav question. If I recall correctly....The maps, when using Android Auto or CarPlay, at least in my 2017, wont show on the DIC or HUD, just the main infotainment screen. But onboard Nav will show in all 3.

Thanks so much for the Nav info♡
Glad I decided to pay a little more to add it.

Also...this is not bad for an overview even though it is the Silverado version (our mirrors are frameless).

Sorry, what I meant was that the software updates (and map updates if equipped) would be done via wi-fi as I don't intend to keep ANY subscription services past the introductory period.

The Nav map updates arenít done via WiFi. They are done via USB or SDCard. Itís around 160 I think for the Camaro. They go on sale a couple times a year though.
