Is there a GM cat back available from the dealer. If so, has anyone installed it and how does it sound?

I have the GMPP performance exhaust. Sounds sweet with headers and cai. Kinda tame without them though. Put the performance was noticable right away. From everything I've read thats kinda unusuall.

. Wish I had a sound clip. Try and get one later.

Yes there is have it and it sounds great although I doubt GM makes it. Not loud until you get on it.

It sound 100% better with the Long tube headers and high flow cats and cai.

. I haven't seen any others that look or sound like it myself.

I just order the exhaust upgrade kit today, should be there by tomorrow. Don't wanna void my warranty so i'm sticking with GMPP. The shorty headers they offer are discontinued, and the airbox is out of stock so i am s.o.l. for the moment.

I have the GMPP exhaust on but I have yet to drive my car as I am out of the country right now. Had it put on when the car was delivered to my wife in December and she said it is meaner sounding than our SSR and that thing has an excellent exhaust note.

A little off topic here but Bonemaro, I ordered the airbox as well. This was back in December and it has yet to arrive. My dealer called GMPP directly about two weeks ago and they said they didn't know when it would be produced IF it would be produced. At that point I had my dealer order my choice of an aftermarket one for install. Getting put on today as a matter of fact.

But with Kooks long tubes and free flow cats, And a cam
2ss LS3 with Factory crossover and resonators

autobot's car sounds really good we did all his mods
i have a gmpp exhaust that we pulled off of one my customers cars i know he is wanting to get rid of it if you interested let me know its the axle back
