I received my replacements last weekend, installed them right away, and shipped back my old set. I am liking the slightly darker tint on this version as well, more than I thought I would.

A week down and so far so good. Really happy with the look of them. And extending the warranty to 1.5 years is such a great offer from JWMotorsports.

I like the concept.....But when they are off, they are too light/clear and do not match my black SS. (Yeah...they might look a little better than the orange and red markers.) Then when they are on, they are way too bright. I realize some states are strict about the side markers but I would like a truly smoked set....deep smoked look when off and not so bright when on?

Easy way to get what you want is to tint your side markers. They'll be dark when off and you'll get a soft glow of the regular bulb when on.

I have not had any issues with mine that were purchased in Feb then installed in June.

I got the tint covers (stick on) for my stock side markers...I like them.(better than the present LED's available) But I would buy a flush mount stock replacement if they were nice and dark. NC inspectors just want to see a bare minimum light there...they are not checking brightness.(if it were an issue, I could just swap them prior to inspection anyway)

These things are awesome. I was in the batch with the failed units, and the replacements were shipped with no hassle at all. JWM has awesome customer service. I know it was a pain for him dealing with the failed units, but he handled it really well and the "customer" never felt the pain.

They go REALLY well with the NGM color.
