I have seen a few 6th gen one ZL1 1LE and one 5th gen 1LE in my area. They are so rare when someone ask me about my car they always ask did I do all that to it because it looks modded not factory and I always say yes I did all that to it as I am laughing under my breath.

There’s prolly about 7 or so 1LE’s in my local area. But being surrounded by military bases, I’m not too surprised. I think I see more V8 6th gen Camaro’s than I see any other trim. To that end, I’m confident I see 4-5 Mustangs per Camaro sighting.

I complimented his car and he began asking me what I thought of 'my ZL1/1LE.' He began naming off details such as the supercharged LT4 and the DSSV suspension. I told him my car was actually an SS with the 1LE package. He looked confused and then got out of his car to look at my car and then told me he thought the 1LE package with 'the black hood' only existed on the ZL1. I don't blame the guy for not knowing as these cars are far from common, but it is funny how few people know/understand this package even exists on the Camaro.

Similar experiences here. Most people who know what a ZL1 is assume that's what my 2SS/1LE is.

I haven't seen any other 1LEs in the wild yet, but I've been told there's one just like mine at a local dealer.

My plant has about 1500 employees split into 4 shifts. There are AT LEAST 10-15 5th or 6th gen Camaros in the lot at every shift change, but mine is the only 1LE so far.

I sometimes question if there even are other 1LE's around me. I've only a seen what I think is a 5G 1LE. Unfortunately the hood wrap crowd is growing (fake 1LEs).
