Brake Pads for Daily/Track

I have almost 500 miles and I am already sick of the brake dust. I knew it was bad my holy cow...
I plan to DD the car and track it 6-10 times a year. What are some good pads that will eliminate the dust, work in cold Michigan weather, and still be effective on the track? The rims are ceramic coated so that helps quite a bit already

You do realize you're asking for literally every plus and zero compromise? Just keep the stock pads on and deal with the dust, then switch to Power Stop Z26's for the winter. If I'm doing track days that are only a couple weeks apart, I'll keep the stock pads on to keep the pad bedding stable. That will exactly be your circumstance.

The closest you can get to "have your cake and eat it too" is the Power Stop Track Day pads, which are roughly as good as the stock Ferodo's, but when they get overheated they melt and spray the wheel with liquid pad material.

Are the stock pads bad in the winter?

No. You were complaining about dust, and the Z26's essentially don't dust, but they suck at the track. You can't have it all.

You're saying you're going to be doing a lot of track days. Just leave the stock pads in the car, as they dust very little for a trackable pad.

I've done 5 trackdays on Z26 pads, I wouldnt say they suck. I haven't experienced any fade, no Ohshit moments.

Based on your lap times, I'm not surprised. No offense, honestly. At an advanced driver pace, the Z26's are no good, and I can't recommend the Track Day pads either at that point. As you progress as a driver and learn to be quicker, you'll want to put your stock pads back in.

Use the Z26 (low dust) for the street and stock ones for track. I've been running the Track day pads for track only, only bad thing is they are very high dust compared to stock, but that's probably true on all track pads. If I ever stop tracking it I may put the Z26 in

Armorall makes a spray for your wheels that helps repel brake dust. It does help. https://www.walmart.com/ip/ArmorAll-...11-oz/51554506
