Just me but I don't like "bug eye" tail lights and too much plastic in the front grill. It would probably look OK on black but any other color and the front end looks cheap.

This would be much better without the bike.

I like how they cleaned up the bumper profile, not as many weird angles like the '16-'18. The tail lights are still so so.

I hate the 2019 bike rack! I’d never buy one of those! It looks like it belongs on a Charger! What were they thinking?!? The value of the 2018 bike racks is going way up!
Now could you go stick your hand into the Flowtie on the front bumper to figure out where the air goes? Seriously, Artey, thanks for the “spy” shots. |

I really like it also. It does look pretty much the same along the bottom so i'm hoping it'll fit.

Also noticing that the tail lamps look different than standard SS. They're red, not "clear" and appear to be darkened..... for quick comparison, this photo is from Road America at last weekends IMSA race. For my two cents, I dont think the 1LE package helped in the asthetics dept. After seeing the SS in person, initial thought was "not quite as bad as original reveal, but still not a good looking car". Also, no I didnt attempt to stick my hand through the "Flowtie". Didnt pay much attention to it honestly.

Faster than your ride to the trails.

I do see that the lights are on in the Red SS 1LE photo. Curious if they're any different when off or are just the standard SS tails? I would assume standard...... and once I zoomed in on my pics, I can see the dark ring around the forward portion of the lamp. So nevermind I guess, nothing new or different to see there, haha.

Is this really a factory 19 1LE or is this what someone would like a 19 1LE to look like while using Photoshop?

That is by far the best looking 2019 SS I have seen. The refreshed 1LE looks so much more aggressive than the pre-refresh.

I agree. In my opinion a good "aggressive" design is one with a purpose and clean lines. The refresh had the potential to look great as it has a lot of the styling cues of other well designed cars but I think they tried too hard to make it different.Similar to the Civic Type-R they simply over designed the style to a point where it is no longer coherent and looks... weird. I am someone who embraces change so it is not that the design is different. In my opinion the black bar in the middle, bowtie, and rounded front end does not follow the same design as the sides of the front end. |

Sometimes, form follows function without a whole lot of consideration to the aesthetics - like it does on the Civic R, where every crease, wing and vent is functional. I’m just not sure “function” is the reason for the styling changes on the ‘19 Camaro, even though there have been some references to enhanced aero (but lower fuel economy???).
