Was going to order a 2013 Mustang GT then have Boss 302 style stripes painted on then clear coated (extra $2,400). The GT was $3k off MSRP.

I was thinking of the Challenger SRT8, but I fell in love with the SS, so I went for it. Best decision ever made.

Mustang, Challenger, Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ... Couldn't wait for the FR-S/BRZ, but after seeing an FR-S yesterday, I can say that I made the right choice. The camaro looks better imo.

After buying my wife her mid-life crisis mobile last year (2003 T-Bird), she gave me the green light to start looking for mine back in January. After several months of looking dozens of vehicles (BMW's...M3 and Z4, CTS-V, Mustangs...GT's and Shelby's, mid 70's Cadillac drop tops, older Triumph TR6's, late 60's muscle cars with modern restorations...the list goes on) I decided on a new Camaro convertible. Hopefully I'll finally take delivery of it by the end of this month.

I was actually on the brink of buying a Toyota/ Scion FRS 2012. But apparently Scion Canada cannot get its shit together in my opinion and they refused to release pricing until recently - they have been teasing information about this new car for years now and I frankly got pretty annoyed with it as I am an adult and wish for companies to treat me as such.
So basically a few months back I said **** it and got myself my dream car - a nice shiny new 2011 Camaro. Won't be looking back that's for sure!!! |

Haha, it is actually funny we looked at literally the same cars, and I actually saw the FRS yesterday and laughed. Its the tiniest thing I have ever seen. It looks like a shrunken Mazda Miata. When I first saw it in person on the road I thought it looked like those remote control cars kids play with. And the starting price in my area is 28500$!!!!!! Absolute BS. When from what I have read Toyota promised UNDER 22 k a year ago. |

Last Spring, I pre-ordered a Special Edition Pre-Order Turbo VW Beetle.
Sight unseen. Except for renderings and an incomplete list of features. The lease on my last car ended in March and my wife and I shared her car for a few months. The Beetle was to be delivered in September. In August of last year, I got to see one in person. I was very disappointed. It did not have the upgraded headlights, or the Fender Sound System, or the panoramic sunroof that VW was 'featuring' in their sales materials. And the euro-styling that I really like about VWs has been cheapened and Toyota-ized. Less so on the Beetle, but very much so on the Passat and Jetta. I canceled and two weeks later, I had my 45th. Which virtually has the same paint as the Beetle, which I Love. My wife was thrilled with this decision.
