Mylink manually update?

Hello guys.
I wrote this thread after a long search without finding a solutions.
I own 2017 SS Camaro and it is imported from South Korea. "I'm based in Saudi Arabia"

Many features of Mylink are not shown like interior lighting, weather and no Wi-Fi included as I can’t update the system! GPS Maps also shown me South Korea map!

Is there a way to update the system and maps so I can use the rest of the features?

I went to our dealer and he said there is nothing they can do about it!

Welcome to the forums, Hossack.

In our 2016-2018 model year cars, software updates can only be performed at the dealership via their service tools. Over-the-air or USB stick based updates are only possible for MyLink apps and maps, not the software itself.

I'm afraid you either need to find a dealership that is able to perform this procedure. Alternatively, you may try to reach out to Chris White at https://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/ and see if they can help you out with a custom update.

I was hoping that answer I wanted but I most accept this fact.

You've been helpful arpad_m, Thanks.
