I think people are going to start having to realize this is a fact. Hopefully it will slow sales of newer vehicles that you technically don't own. I doubt this will have an effect. Hopefully we can start getting proper support for the vehicles we already have.

Yes... We have been discussing it around here for a while now. Somebody else posted the same thing several months back and even followed up a few times since with HPtuners replying with the same answer. The T93 will likely never be supported.

I saw this writing on the wall, too, this is why I jumped on the train in 2018.
The probability of manufacturers using strong and practically uncrackable encryption schemes has been rising continuously as they are shifting towards enforcing total control over their products. This tide may still be reversed, but that is rather unlikely to happen. IMO the only remaining chance for unlocking seems to be insider trading or a major design error, brute force will no longer cut it. Quantum computing may change this temporarily, assuming auto manufacturers will be just as slow taking up that technology as they are with everything else, but Tesla changed that mentality quite a lot, so who knows (and this is future speculation anyway, nothing to do with today's TCMs)

The C8 guys are using piggybacks for the TT builds. My understanding is the new GM architecture is designed to be 'hack-proof' due to features like Super Cruise.
'Hack-proof' just means it's going to take a little longer, imho.
