Georgia dragon

I don't know how, but I just found out about this. Has anyone taken the loop? My only information is what I've read or watched videos of.

Since it's only about 3 hours from me, it's a tad closer than the tail.

Anyone driven it recently or have any tips?

I probably will wait until spring when it warms up a tad.

Never heard of that one...where exactly is it located? Does it have a route or Hwy #?

best I can see is it is several roads. from what I've read and seen, I've made/modified a few routes into google maps. I've not taken them yet, so these may be subject to change.

It doesnt have a name just called Wolf Pen Gap, Suches Loop, and simply 60. US 19 is sometimes nicknamed Blood Mountain Run. First time ive ever seen it called the Georgia Dragon. Many people I know live up that way, great roads not as technical as the real dragon so easier to drive but a lot of fun.

I've heard it called all of them, and I didn't know what it's referred as. I've also heard it's not as difficult (what is?) as deals gap, but it still looks pretty fun.

I've never heard of it referred to as the Georgia Dragon; its usually Suches Loop or Six Gap Loop.

Here's a map of Six Gap (which includes everything you'd run in the Suches Loop and more.)

Not as fun as Deals Gap / ToTD, but also not as traveled either. Much less tourist traffic.
