Zero modifications required to the factory hood on SS or ZL1 cars!

This kit looks SPECTACULAR.

Couple of questions: I own a 2017 SS, been building for track; suspension is great, but I will want more speed.

I know it's probably too early to tell since your kit is still relatively new, but any projections of how this kit will do with prolonged application (not a 1/4 mile at a clip, but much longer/broader acceleration application)?

In a non-ZL1 application, will we have to add forged rods and pistons to keep the motor from blowing up?

Lastly, I may have missed it, but any dyno numbers on the LT-1?

Thanks in advance, and congratulations on the kit. This looks great.

Thanks for the kind words! We have this car driving daily on the streets and even in a parade with zero heat issues. In a prolonged acceleration event I do not have any data at this time but do not suspect any issues due to the great heat management of the kit.

LT1 results we will have very soon, but you can set it up to make as much power as you are comfortable with using the supplied wastegate spring options. Forged bottom end is not required unless you desire more power of course, but that goes with adding any type of power adder to these engines.

What intake is that you are using for secondary port injection? Do you guys offer that intake with your kits?

That's the LME intake they are using. That intake alone is 4500 bucks but it sure is nice.

Yeah after some research I discovered that, it isn't $4500 nice lol.

I am trying to sell my F1 Procharger kit and trying to determine if I should keep my Procharger intake or try and sell it all together and go with a different intake to run this turbo kit.

I would keep the procharger manifold if it was me. Once you start looking at intake manifolds from the likes of FED or LME your looking at a 4k minimum on top of the price of the turbo kit.

Yeah I have been looking around at them and they are not cheap at all, $2700 seems like a great deal from Procharger now. Lol

I think the MSD actually already has port injection bungs and it is just around $1000.

MSD is 2 piece and I would be concerned about it leaking under the amount of boost you plan to run. I say stick with the Procharger IM.

Yeah that is my only concern as well. I will probably end up keeping the Procharger intake if I end up doing this, just waiting on someone to buy my Procharger kit now so I can.

Will you be coming out with a larger IC that retains the front crash bar? I live in the desert where it is 110+ all summer, so I don't think I could get by with the half-blocked small one and I'm not at all willing to compromise the structural integrity of the chassis or my safety in the process.

Well to go larger we need to use the space where the crash bar is so for thicker you need to ditch the front bumper bar. If you wish the retain the front bumper bar we can do the standard intercooler which is still extremely efficient! Add in some meth for added cooling if you like for the extra hot days!

Goertz (G1Pro) had a sheet metal manifold on their site about two months ago- like the Procharger one - for less $$.
