1st Dyno tune

Hello

I just had the supercharger replacement done under warranty (13 ZL1 w/ 40000 miles) then I added I. D. 1050x injecters and a SW tuning e85 kit. Took It to get dyno tuned today, I was hoping for more hp, it started at (car already had Cai, bigger tb, full length headers and 3 inch cat back) 505 then to 522 I think. Then added about 12 gallons of e85 to about 4 gallons premium already in the tank. It worked its way up 554 hp and we stopped. I plan now to add a bap and smaller supercharger pulley, most likely a 2.44. I am planning on going to the Cadillac track attack on Feb 22 and getting those items and having it Dyno tuned again and then I will stop with adding hp for awhile.

Here are the Dyno sheets, both are same final pull just one sae and the other standard.

Do the lower pulley before the upper.

100% correct.

ATI super damper, with a 10%.

You will need more than a BAP to support 20% overdrive pulley combo.

Monitor fuel pressure, Stock pump with BAP runs out at 700 RWHP on Gasoline and the more E you put in the lower that number goes.

With E-40 I would expect you to run out of fuel pump at 595 RWHP, which you can easily do with a 10% pulley.

Ted.

Thanks for the info on the different pulleys. I will definitely look into more before I do anything. The thinking behind the supercharger pulley is it may have the old style isolater and will need to be replaced. I figured that would be the easiest to do.
My car is a 5th Gen with a 6th Gen bumper cover.

If it is not noisey don't worry about it.

And don't void the supercharger 10 year 100K warranty by changing the upper pulley and or isolator.

Run it until it is noisy then have the whole supercharger replaced

If I was going to place a 28% overdrive pulley, the BAP wouldn't work? My car will be going in the shop in about a month and I currently have CAI, Kooks Headers, and ported TB. I am adding a BTR Stage 2 cam, e-85, and was planning on a 28% overdrive pulley. Can I not do this with just the JMS BAP? If not then what would you recommend?

Absolutley not.

Even on straight gasoline you would not have enough fuel pump with a JMS BAP.

You will need a Fore innovations return twin pump fuel system and ID1300x injectors.

Give us a call we will spec everything out for you and get you what you need.

Ted.

Ted: What do you like about the Fore system over a similar Squash system?

It does appear to be a 6th Gen front cap with the 5th Gen hood.

I think it's probably the Ikon front bumper conversion. There's a guy on youtube that has a nice example of a ZL1 that has been given the 6th gen treatment: "Outlaw Performance Garage". Here's a pic of his car
