275/35-20 Front 315/35-20 Rear anyone have this setup?

I'm looking to get this setup but just wondering if anyone has had problems. traction or stability control going nuts? Or any other glitches?

275/40-20 is optimal for the front but I was told it will rub if I decide to lower the car later.

Any help would be appreciated. Spending some serious coin and don't want to @#$@ it up.

275-35-20 is 27.6" tall
315-35-20 is 28.7" tall
you will have stabilitrac issues.
see here for recommended sizes.

you will have stabilitrac issues as well. I bet you have 315-25-22 as those are 28.2 "

Its easy to figure out sizes that are not listed use the formulas below.

width x aspect % = sidewall height
multiply this times 2 then divide by 25.4 this will give you the total sidewall height in inches.
now add your wheel size to get the toatal height.

A 255/35 R20 tire would be

255 x 35% = 89.25mm (or 255 x 0.35)
89.25mm x 2 =178.5mm now divided by 25.4 is 7.03 inches.
7.03" + 20" wheel is 27.03" total height.

Thanks GVA

I've read the chart made by Nine Ball. I've been speaking with CCW Wheels and they told me they've done this particular set up with no issues. and now I have chozn4service with the same ratio setup. and if he's running it, I would imagine he has no outward problems.

The revs per mile on my set up would be -3.9% difference between the two sizes and 1.1" difference in height. and Chozen's is 4% with the same height difference. I've heard if I keep it within 6% it should be good.

So I have different conflicting sets of information and I think the best way to really make sure is to find someone with the same set up. Or I can spend the dough and believe in CCW which has a great reputation.

ahhh they told me there was a chance of that happening with that tire which is why they recommend the 275/35. does the side wall look kinda big on the 275/40?

how much lower are you on the front? 1"

I'm lowered with Detroit Speed Engineering, 1" all the way around. No issues what so ever and I'm nicely tucked as well.

Installer, your stretching your front tire is that helping with the clearance? Is that why you have no rubbing?

nice wheels by the way guys!!
