Exclamation Issue with outdoor temperature sensor.

So stupid me I somehow left the door open in my car or something and it killed the battery pretty bad overnight. I had to jump it this morning. Everything is back to normal it seems except the outdoor temperature sensor reads "--", as in nothing is showing. Been driving it around for an hour or so and it still isn't showing a reading. Anyone have a clue?

When I picked up my 2016 it was in showroom, dead battery and they boosted it but my salesman had them put in a new one, on the way home 104 mile drive mine was the same, next day it was back to normal.

Take a bit for the sensor to come back online. It is normal.

Happens from time to time in all of my GM vehicles that I own or have owned. It will come back on its own.

Is it possible that if I just disconnect the battery for a bit then reconnect it, it could fix itself? The less hands the dealer has on my car, the better. I don't trust many with it.

A battery disconnect and reconnect fixed the issue. Thanks!
