I used the tune that Magnuson sent to me with the SCT handheld. Its very conservative at a total timing of only 14 degrees. The intercooled tune is about 18, out boost was the same as much of the other tune, its all in the timing.

Looking back and after talking to Mike at Rotofab I probably should have had the hood closed and in a few weeks when we go back to dyno again I'll run it both ways to see the real difference. It was 77 or so degrees in the shop so we should have closed it and put the high speed fan right up against the open in the grill where the air comes into the air box opening.

Yes, that would work also and I had thought of that since my original base line pulls I had the CAI on with the clear cover so no interference from shop temps. I'd rather do that then shut the hood, I want to see whats happening under there during the pull

Pretty sure you have to use the sct tuner they send with on all kits for the warranty tune.

I'm working with Mike at Magnacharger to get an intercooler on its way pretty soon. I think its the best move and I can't have that other Camaro kicking my butt on the dyno or any place. I going racing this year with the intent to get into the mid tens and kick some ass at the track. No games being played here.

If you don't mind, how much for just the intercooler setup? Didn't know if it was more expensive buying it by itself at a later date. Wanting to build mine in stages like you have.

Are you going to be able to do any track runs before you add the intercooler? It would be great to see how much the difference the intercooler makes at the track.
