If I can score a 2017 2SS 1LE with NPP, MRC, PDR, and an unlocked radio that will allow the Fiancee to watch Netflix on road trips, I will be a very happy man!

Yes but put it in park or add on the parking brake and it stops, we fixed that and added more file that can be played.

Yes there are files in the BCM that are LT4 specific, so its coming out, best keep secret, Not.

Or as Al said they have some very fast Camo paint running at the ring.

My current car has a Pioneer Avic-8000NEX with the parking brake override, so I have apple car play and the ability to play DVDs while driving. So in a perfect world I would be able to watch movies and netflix through the USB connection. It would be awesome to play full length movies from my iphone library as well. Does anyone know if the movies from iphone library is already possible?

My guess is that there will be a Lt4 varient before a 1LE. which kinda sucks because I really wanted a 1LE. but not sure if patience can take it any longer.

AA/CarPlay have strict guidelines for apps that will be allowed to display on the screen. So long story short...you will not be able to play videos/streaming video apps through them for obvious reasons. Now using an iPhone/iPod through the regular USB media device interface may work...but definitely not through CarPlay.

So hate to break to everyone, you won't get Netflix through your phone. Now if the myLink has a video input connection (Composite or HDMI) then you could probably get that way.

I knew Carplay wouldn't support it but maybe the "projection mode" on the mylink could pull it off if they work their magic on it.
