Nah Chip has off road pipes and says it isn't bad and Blake has it so I'm assuming it not that bad either.

Worst case if its bad bad ill buy the high flows down the road and sell my off road pipes.

what is "the smell"? I think at worst my car has a strong hint of gas every once in a whlie.. probably a mixture of tune for the cam and off road pipes.. nothing bad at all.

I've heard ppl talk of a rotten egg smel because of running mid pipes instead of cats....you guys know how long before we have to get checked before emissions

ohhh, yea no rotten egg smell here...just gas. my car was checked for the first time this year. you get 2 years from production year... so i assume yours is on your bday next year.

No issues with having off road pipes I assume then. They didn't do their "visual check" cause I know you aren't throwing codes so that part isn't an issue.

The visual check is the only part I'm marginally concerned about.

The visual check is why I have a set of high flow cats sitting in my garage I didn't want to take any chances

No rotten egg smell! Just gas! Without a tune. To even out the A/F mixture , the gas smell will be a little stronger!

Yeah I've got no cats and I have no idea what the "rotten egg" smell is. Occasionally if I let my car sit still I'll smell the gas smell, but nothing else

After the car is 3 years old. So starting the 4th year, I believe. I got mine end of 2009 and had to do 1st emissions test for the 2014 year. I'm gonna have to put the cats on, now.

Yes, 2010 and older have to be inspected in 2013. In 2014, 2011 and older will have to be inspected. Only for some of us though. Some are lucky enough to live outside the emissions testing area.

The Paul Walker cruise info has been posted in the other thread.

It is starting at the Gwinnett Braves stadium and ending at Atlanta Motorsport's Park.

I am most likely not going to go now since it is so far for me, but I'll still help coordinate for you guys.

We have an attached garage, and the 2010 stunk it up when the cats came off. Maybe not rotten eggs...
