Cleaning ZL1 Rims

What are you guys using to clean the barrels your rims? I've been using an angled wheel woolie, but it's not cleaning efficiently. It is impossible to reach between the calipers and barrel. The EZ detail and Speed Master brush have caught my attention, but I've read that both leave fine scratches. Is there a wheel woolie or brush that can clean the rims effectively without scratching?

I’ve never had a speedmaster scratch a wheel, and I’ve cleaned many with one…

Our Turbo sticks works well with a battery drill.

I did a wheels off detail of my rims this past weekend. Used a speed master and a microfiber clothe to clean them. Also used a plastic scrub brush (briefly) to get impossible brake dust off. I did scratch 1 rim with the scrub brush but it removed the baked on dust.

I used the Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax per the directions for a foundation layer etc. Should be a lot easier to clean next time.

I spray on Adams wheel cleaner which loosens up the dirt and their wheel woolies.
Doesn't take long and cleans well.
