Last one was $55. I'm not sure what this one will be. If I get another tint citation it becomes a "moving violation" and jumps to $350 plus court fees. I may have to go much lighter on the front windows just to be a little safer.

how in the hell is window tint a MOVING violation ? I swear this state is a joke

Yeah, technically window tint is not a correctable offense any longer in California. If an LEO narked the ticket as correctable, he/she was being nice or just didn't know the law change.

I'll have to check and make sure it was marked as correctable. I am pretty sure he said if you get 3 tickets for tint it is a moving violation because you keep getting cited for the same thing. I get it, I don't like it, but if someone is going to constantly break a law, no matter how stupid, they have to have a way to track it. Making it a MV makes it sting more than a "fix it" ticket.

what was the unsafe lane change for then? did he cite you for that? because i got a ticket for that a few months ago and had full evidence against it, but the cop didnt show up anyway and i won the case

Lane change was a "verbal warning". He did check the "not correctable" box so now I guess I wait and see what the court says. :(

Well I move back to NJ and get an invite to display the ZLX indoors at one of the largest car events in the country, the GM Nationals in Carlisle, PA.

On the heels of 2 magazine shots, this was the cherry on top.
