Muscle Cars Permabanned from Texas Coffee and Cars

Funny enough this was my first and I guess last time attending, I haven’t found a video but apparently it was a few cars including our own, Challenger, Supra, that people have said caused the ban, last time a Charger caused the temporary ban.

Cars don't do burn outs. Drivers do burn outs.

Texas is going downhill. So much freedom in that state you can't even park your car in a parking lot

I can believe it as you always have idiot drivers showing out when coming and leaving a cars and coffee event or car show. Just a few people ruin it for everyone else.

Sad. I'm not surprised though. I can't get into most club/meet culture these days. Too many people have an "it's all about me" attitude and end up giving everyone else a bad name or ruining a good thing because they think acting like adults and following basic rules doesn't matter.

They killed it with the street take overs. Back in they day if you "took over" the street it was to race, not do stupid shit and kill people and steal ppls cars. Now they cops are quick to lump all this activity into one basket of deplorables.

I won't agree with banning all modern muscle, but ya know I get it. I don't think Camaro's are the main offender, but "modern muscle" drivers aren't exactly making the best impression on joe public. Soooo many guys cutting mufflers off with their insanely loud garbage sounding exhaust just annoying the crap outta everyone....driving like idiots, racing, tailgating etc. etc. Reminds me of how the import crowd was back in the 90's and early 2000. -and of course it's the age demographic, right? The young guys do what young guys do.

Not just young guys, unless you consider under 60 or so "young", and even then...

Pretty dumb to punish everyone because of a few idiots. How exactly are they going to enforce their ban?

As if street racing isn't "stupid shit". I'm not condoning either, but driving 2-3x the speed limit on public streets is far more dangerous. Takeovers are also not a new phenomenon, they're just easier than ever to record. They've been refereed to as sideshows by rappers for decades, takeover is just the more recent term.

Probably more effective to just ban males <30 y/o.

Ever since Fast and Furious came out car culture has been on a decline. Coal rolling diesel trucks, the most idiotic "Street Takeovers" imaginable, and idiots doing burnouts to show off on crowded public streets are the issue... they are criminals that make everyone into cars look bad. I keep my daily driver stock because I think modded cars make you look like a degenerate these days.

The only solution is law abiding auto enthusiasts doing something about it and condemning the idiots. So I get the bans, it's not fair but something HAS to be done.

Those meets are lame as hell.

Bunch of pimply faced ricers stroking the ego of super car bros that show up.

Simple solution: you want to bring your car to a meet? It’s $250 for a permit. If you don’t cause any problems on the street near it or during, you get $225 back in a week. If you are cited for any issues you lose all the money.
