Yep, I did email a local powdercoating place by me to see what they charge. If it gets anywhere near the cost of what I can just get the upgraded kit for then i'm just going to get the upgraded Brembo kit for the front and rear through Chevy.

i used the g2 caliper paint kit on my old cobalt ss and it worked just fine! got some brembo stickers off amazon i used the same g2 kit for my rear calipers on my camaro and it came out awesome!

As far as I can tell the only difference is the color. They have the same brake code - J6G as the black ones do that your VIN calls for.
Anytime you're changing from the original part there's a risk of it not fitting but I don't any reason where it would be a problem.

The numbers you have are all correct for the red option.

Thanks, anyone checking has to keep in mind that the Red 4 Piston Brembos were NOT an option until 2019, so if you call the dealer and they try to cross references it to your 2016-2018 VIN they are going to tell you "Not applicable", but they are the exact same calipers, just red instead of black... They just don't show as available for 2016-2018 because they weren't available back then in red...

No worries arpad_m... Yep, I couldn't thank 2SS_Capt enough. He really helped me out. I would have ended up getting the upgrade performance kit and instead got the OEM in Red for less then 1/3 the price. I feel I need too send 2SS_Capt a finders fee...

Your car looks sick with the red calipers, that blue paint/black wheel/red caliper combo is a killer one .

Only other thing I'd add if it were my car is the black heritage badge and the look is complete.
