SS vs. SS 1LE wheel calculations

For those interested, here's calculations on the SS and SS 1LE wheels to quantify how much further in and out they sit compared to each other.

Great info. Another interesting data point is rolling diameter. I’ve gathered a bunch of data comparing the diameter of 285/30-20, 305-30/20 against 305/30-19 when searching for track tires and wheels.

Using the stock Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires the measurements for the 1LE are:

285/30ZR20 26.8” diameter and 781 revs/mile
305/30ZR20 27.2” diameter and 767 revs/mile

Track tires
305/30 ZR 19 26.3 diameter and 796 revs/mile

You might want to add this data to your table...

The rev's per mile is what GM uses for the speedo, for any of the I4, V6, SS, SS-1LE and the ZL1 cars the revs per mile only vary I think 30 revs, so GM uses the same number for all of them. The ZL1-1LE may use a different calculation since its tire size has a decent amount of difference in the revs per mile.

Thanks for the input. I've updated the table with revs/mile and also added the ZL1 1LE size wheels/tires.

Thanks for the feedback. The bolt pattern for all wheels listed in post 6 is 5 X 120mm.

So, will I need to do the driverside wire relocation for the new 1Le wheels I bought if I stick to the stock 1LE tire sizes?
