New exhaust
Installed an axle back AWE non resonated track exhaust on the car last week, holy crap I wasn’t expecting such a difference just with axle back like this lol, really makes it a different car....neighbors don’t like me as much now though... xD
https://youtu.be/c9oTQh3pTVw ^Last cold start with stock exhaust, and install of new exhaust. https://youtu.be/3Y764nvkhEE ^ cold start https://youtu.be/k-pRh57mXe0 ^This one has a quick flyby my wife got, sweet little snap at the end lol I’ve done nothing to the car except a Roto-Fab air intake and now this Axle-Back exhaust. Slowly but surely making the right choices for what I want.

Sounds good. Thanks for the before and after sound clips. Looking to do some MODS on mine and sound shopping. Exhaust, Headers, CAI, Tune, Pulley, Possible TB are of the first I'd like to complete. Enjoy.... Apparently it's muddy in Texas

Do me a favor and see what speeds specifically the drone kicks in, and how bad it is.
My Borla wasn't constant it only popped up at specific speeds and all I had to do to get rid of it was go one mile per hour faster and it was gone. Appreciate it, sounds amazing by the way. |

Drone is a function of gear selection and thus RPM range, and not about "speed". |

Thank you Vinn, didn’t look at it from the correct perspective, your correct.
So at what RPM in 6th gear was the drone most prevalent? |

It's hard to beat these AWE systems. Great sound. We are starting a cammed SS with long tubes and the track system. It's gonna be crazy loud.

Drone or not though I love the Axle back, like the CAI that stupid suitcase being gone makes the car just that much more enjoyable the air flow is immediately noticeable, she flies up the speedo now, and I snap necks with a little poop in the pants now, catching ppl off guard with a nice rev. 😂

So far through all gears the drone is right around 2k-2200. I don’t mind it so much but ppl in the back might not dig it 😂

Congrats. I wish I had an AWE exhaust. I actually ordered one the week before last and it still hasn’t shipped yet.

Who rides in the back, my dog won't even go back there? I started with the AWE axle back and added the cat back with resonators after the fact, found it to be a bit too randy. The system is pretty much modular so it's easy to change up although it would have been cheaper to start with the cat back.
